Clear Object

This topic describes the Clear Data for Cube Dimension and Clear Data for Cube dialog boxes. Use these dialog boxes to delete the dimension members from a cube dimension or to clear data values from a cube. Clearing cube data values prepares the cube for a data refresh by setting all or some of the values of a cube to null (NA).

Prompts

For a cube dimension, this page displays a message. To delete all dimension members, click Apply.

For a cube, this page displays a template of the expression syntax to clear the selected data values using a single process or parallel processes.

To change a value in the expression syntax:

Click the underlined value in the template.
Select a different value from the list that appears.

After making all selections, click Apply.

SQL

This page shows the SQL or PL/SQL used to clear the object of the specified data.
