Create Time Dimension Table: Select Attributes

Defines the columns for attributes of a time dimension to include to the time dimension table.

Time Period Type: Lists the time period types selected on the Select Time Periods panel. Select each time period type for which to include attribute columns in the table.

Applies to: Defines the attributes defined for the selected time period type.

• Selected: Specifies the table columns to add for the attributes. Some attributes are required. Deselect any other attributes that are not needed by your cubes.

• Column Name: Specifies the name of the table column for the attribute.

• Format: Indicates the format for the descriptions. You can modify the format for the Description attribute. Click the field to see a list of available formats. You can also modify a format or replace it with your own valid SQL statement that specifies a format.

• Data Type: Specifies the data type for the column. Click the field to see a list of available formats.
