Members with Multiple Descriptions Report

This report shows the number of level members that have different description values in different rows of the dimension table. When a member has multiple descriptions in the dimension table, most query tools use the last value loaded in the cube. This might produce inconsistent results from one dimension load to the next.

Note:

  • This test does not strip leading or trailing spaces. For example, 'Bedford' and 'Bedford ' are not considered to be the same values.

  • This test is case sensitive. For example, 'BEDFORD' and 'Bedford' are not considered to be the same values.
