Analytic view hierarchies define the hierarchical relationships among levels of an attribute dimension.
Schema: The schema in which the hierarchy is created.
Name: A simple name for the analytic view object in the database, adhering to the rules for first-class database object names. Enter underscores where you want spaces in the default labels.
Force create object: Select this option to force the compilation of the analytic view even if it does not successfully compile. If this option is not selected, the analytic view must compile successfully, otherwise an error occurs.
Caption: A simple name for the analytic view object, adhering to the rules for first-class database object names.
Description: Descriptive text, which can contain mixed case, spaces, and symbols.
Dimension: Select the attribute dimension that this hierarchy uses. Expand the drop-down list to display the available attribute dimensions.
Available Levels: Displays a list of all available levels.
Selected Levels: Displays a list of the levels selected for this hierarchy. This list must be ordered from the highest level of aggregation to the lowest level of aggregation.
To include a level in the hierarchy, double-click it or select it and click the Add arrow.
To reorder the list, select a level and use the arrows to move it up or down.
