The OLAP DML has data types that correspond to SQL datetime and interval data types. As outlined in Table: OLAP DML Datetime and Interval Data Types and the Corresponding SQL Data Types, the names of the data types are different in OLAP DML than they are in SQL.

In the OLAP DML, the datetime data types are DATETIME, TIMESTAMP, TIMESTAMP_TZ, and TIMESTAMP_LTZ. The interval data types are YMINTERVAL and DSINTERVAL. Both datetimes and intervals are made up of fields as discussed in "Datetime and Interval Fields".
