LENGTH
The LENGTH functions return the length of a text expression.

LENGTH counts the number of characters.

LENGTHB uses bytes instead of characters.

LENGTHC uses Unicode complete characters.
Syntax
{ LENGTH | LENGTHB | LENGTHC }(char)
Arguments
char is any text expression.
Example
LENGTH('CANDIDE') returns the value 7.
